Google is introducing a new feature that allows more users to co-present Google Slides during a Google Meet video call. This feature will allow multiple participants to collaborate on a presentation in real time, making it easier for teams to work together remotely.
Here’s how it will work:
- Start a Google Meet call and open the presentation in Google Slides.
- Click on the “Present” button in Google Slides.
- On the top right corner of the screen, click on the “Change presenter” button.
- Click on “Add people” and enter the email addresses of the people you want to co-present with.
- Click “Send” to invite the co-presenters.
- Once the co-presenters have accepted the invitation, they will be able to control the presentation, add or edit slides, and navigate through the presentation.
- The original presenter can still control the presentation, but the co-presenters can also take control and advance the slides.
This feature is currently available for Google Workspace customers and will roll out gradually to all users in the coming weeks.
